A three-part series with Emerge and EMILY’s List highlighting the varied stories of women who have run for office.
The panels will seek to inspire Democratic women across the country to run for office by showing them how other women transitioned from activist to candidate to elected official. Each webinar will begin with a 40-minute panel of Democratic women who are a part of the Emerge and EMILY’s List networks. The panels will be led by the moderator for the first 30 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of audience Q&A. The panel will be followed by a brief 10-minute training from Emerge and EMILY’s List on the corresponding topic.

The panelists will represent a diverse cross-section of offices and backgrounds to demonstrate the full range of women serving in government nationwide and where the leadership of Democratic women is needed. These conversations will be honest, authentic and accessible so that we create an environment where elected officials can be frank about their experiences and participants can engage with them about what it means to lead in their communities.
