Step Forward: Inauguration Edition
With the historic swearing in of Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Wednesday, there couldn’t be a better time for you to learn about how to take your first steps toward elected office! Our Step Forward trainings were created to help Democratic women answer the questions, “Should I run for office?” and “What does it take to run a successful campaign?”.
Join us for a one-hour, virtual workshop designed to show you how to lay the foundation and get a head start on your path to political leadership. The workshop will help you navigate your local political landscape, grow and solidify your networks, help you to determine your goals and show you how to lay the groundwork for a future run for office.
The training is one-hour long and cover the following topics:
- Connecting your passion to an elected position
- Building a path to run
- Building your base
- Preparing yourself as a person and as a candidate
