Affiliate Coordinator 

Emerge is seeking an Affiliate Coordinator.  This person will be an important part of our affiliate team by providing immediate support for our 27 affiliates.  This includes website support, virtual event support and technical assistance, and helping with the application process for our training programs.  Additionally, this role supports the deputy affiliate director and affiliate director with scheduling and special projects. If you love working with others, keeping projects on track, and are passionate about training Democratic women to run for office this is the perfect role for you.  

The Affiliate Coordinator is a regular full-time remote position that reports to the Affiliate Director.

What You’ll Do

  • Create online forms and maintain the NGPVAN system for Emerge;
  • Assist in the application process for trainings by helping Executive Directors and applicants;
  • Maintain applicant data, make edits, and archive previous applications; 
  • Help coordinate and set up virtual events and programs;
  • Provide technical support for virtual events and programs;
  • Assist with onboarding by training new hires on using databases and other software;
  • Maintain affiliate websites, make edits, edit code, create pop-ups and new content as necessary;
  • Provide administrative, scheduling, and project support to the Affiliate Director and Deputy Affiliate Director;
  • Other duties as requested.

You will have most or all of the following:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including competency working cross-culturally and in diverse teams to create an equitable and inclusive environment;
  • Enthusiasm for the advancement of Democratic women in politics; 
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and keep track of multiple projects; 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Asana, and Dropbox;
  • Excellent web skills and comfort trouble-shooting with technology; 
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and computer skills; 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent follow-through and accountability; and
  • Knowledge of women’s political leadership issues and political experience.

Salary and Benefits

Emerge offers a competitive compensation and benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and 401k retirement plan. We also offer a generous PTO plan and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of mission-driven people. Starting salary: $50,000
