Elizabeth Doyel

Elizabeth got her political start in her home state of Arkansas, where she learned early that telling a story is how people connect.

She is an award-winning strategist and direct mail expert as a Partner at Superior Blue Strategies. With more than 20 years of professional experience in the political and nonprofit worlds, Elizabeth has been a campaign manager, fundraiser, and field organizer for political campaigns of all sizes across the country — including U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, Attorney General Janet Reno and several members of Congress.

A consummate connector who brings value to any campaign or organization, Elizabeth has also helped train hundreds of candidates and staff across the country. She brings a deep knowledge of c(4)s and c(3)s, having raised millions of dollars for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Annie’s List, NARAL-CA, Texas League of Conservation Voters, and other national progressive groups, and served as Executive Director of the Texas League of Conservation Voters.

Outside of the professional arena, Elizabeth is a champion for women’s rights and voting rights, giving her time to a variety of organizations. Along with co-founding EMERGE Texas, where she is on the Steering Committee, Elizabeth serves on the board of Common Cause Texas. In previous years, she has served on the boards of the Future Forum of the LBJ Presidential Library, the Austin Animal Center, and the San Francisco Ballet, Co-Chaired g3: Girls Giving Grants, and been active in the Junior League. When she’s not doing any of that, she can be found playing with her rescue dog, Thatcher, going to art museums, or reading at home in Washington, DC.
