Shannon’s early career centered on the healthcare industry, beginning as an auditor for Medicare before moving on to other roles including financial consultant at a regional CPA firm and CFO of a nursing home chain. She ultimately followed her passion to the non-profit sector, holding financial leadership positions at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, United Cerebral Palsy of Metropolitan Detroit, Stagecrafters Community Theatre, and most recently the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. Shannon is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, traveling, concerts and theatre.
