Read moreAllison Terracio is the Executive Director of Emerge South Carolina and holds the distinction of being the first Emerge SC alum to be elected from the program in this state. An organizer at heart, she loves to connect people and support them as they discover their own power to make change. Her previous role was at Planned Parenthood South Atlantic where she led South Carolina’s advocacy campaigns. She has also worked in financial services and as a yoga teacher and doula.
Allison currently serves as a Richland County Council Member, where she ensures that her constituents have access to the key functions of local government. Her time is spent on affordable housing initiatives and policies, improving transit, and conserving environmental and historical features of the communities in her district.
She resides in Columbia, SC, with her husband and teen son. She still tries to do some yoga and is lucky to have some fantastic besties.
