#LeadersMatter Virtual Salon: Why Women for Attorney General?

July 10, 2020 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Currently, there are only six Democratic women Attorneys General in the U.S., including Maura Healey (MA) and Emerge alum Ellen Rosenblum (OR). Together, Attorneys General Healey and Rosenblum co-chaired the Democratic Attorneys General Association’s launch of the 1881 Initiative. The initiative’s goal is to elect women to half of all Democratic state Attorney General seats by the end of 2022. Our speakers will discuss the importance of equal representation, their work standing up against the Trump administration, and how they protect and serve their constituents as women AGs amidst a pandemic.

The #LeadersMatter virtual salon series is an event benefit of the Emerge Leadership Circle. The Leadership Circle is a core group of supporters who give $1,000 or more each year to support Emerge’s ongoing work. Leadership Circle members receive all-access to the complete #LeadersMatter virtual salon series including one guest pass.

Individual tickets for each salon are also available to purchase for non-Leadership Circle members at $100.
