Emerge is seeking a Training Manager for a short-term, 12-month role that will expand capacity for our best-in-class training programs. This individual will manage recruitment and outreach for training; work with partners to host events like Step Forwards and educational series; as well as plan and program continuing education series for Emerge’s 5,000 alumnae and counting,
The Training Manager will report to the Political Director and is a full-time position remotely or based out of our Washington D.C. office. The position will require some weekends and/or evenings work. This role is program-specific and shall be funded one full year from the start date. Extension of contract is based on receipt of additional program funding.

We are the nation’s premier organization that recruits, trains, and provides a powerful network to Democratic women who want to run for office. Since 2002, Emerge has trained 5,000 Democratic women to run for office and there are more than 1,100 Emerge alumnae currently in elected office.

We are seeking candidates with deep training experience, ideally in the campaign, nonprofit or advocacy sectors. While experience in a similar role in the political sector is not required, a commitment to the advancement of Democratic women in politics is.
