Gavel In

Emerge has completed training the inaugural cohort for our award-winning judicial candidate training program, Gavel In.

Gavel In was created to train jurists who want to serve in judgeships to run successful and strategic political campaigns. This program covers basic campaign skills and tactics, while also sharing content specifically developed to meet the unique needs of those running for judicial roles. Topics include:

• Campaign Overview and Structure
• Telling Your Story
• Building Your Judicial Message
• Voter Targeting and Field Campaigns
• Earned Media, Social Media, and Paid Media
• Ethical Fundraising
• Networking and Endorsements
• Day in the Life as a Judge

This inaugural cohort included folks from GA, MI, NV, NM, PA, SC, TX, WA, and WI interested in running for judge.
