Liz Gamache is currently serving her third term as Mayor of the City of St. Albans, Vermont, where she’s leading an unprecedented downtown revitalization effort that has transformed the Main Street district, filling vacant storefronts while attracting jobs and private investment. Liz is also the Vice President for Grants and Community Investments at the Vermont Community Foundation, where she directs the Foundation’s approach to grantmaking, community engagement, and Vermont-based mission investing and helps put the Foundation’s charitable capital in all its forms to work in local communities.
Previously, Liz served as Director of Efficiency Vermont where she led the organization in delivering energy savings to all Vermonters, while fostering relationships with partners throughout the state. For seven years, Liz was Manager of Corporate Services at Vermont Electric Cooperative, the state’s second-largest distribution utility. Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Vermont, and an Excellence in Executive Leadership certification from Champlain College.
