Rashmi Yadav Marya earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Idaho in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences and went on to receive a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a Master of Philosophy in Neuroscience Research at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. She then began work for Eli Lilly & Company in their Neuroscience division. Over her 13 years there, she worked in a variety of functions in South Africa and the United States including sales and marketing and clinical trial development. While in South Africa, she served on the affiliate’s Diversity Committee shortly after apartheid and worked on the development and implementation of HIV policies and employment equity policies in collaboration with the South African government. Most recently, she was a Medical Liaison in the area of pain medicine and neurology in the Bay Area, which entailed cultivating and leveraging relationships with world renowned thought leaders and facilitation of advisory boards and scientific meetings.
Rashmi has served on the board of the San Francisco FBI Citizen’s Academy and is a trustee at Marin Country Day School.
