Diana’s leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Daily Record’s Top 40 Under 40 (2017), United Way’s Philanthropic 5 Award, and the Daily Record’s Leading Women Award (2020). In 2024, she served as a Maryland Delegate for the Democratic National Committee, playing a pivotal role in nominating Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States.
Elected in 43rdA legislative district for Baltimore City Democratic State Central Committee, also serving as the 1st Vice Chair. Later nominated by Governor Moore to serve as Deputy Treasurer for the Maryland State Democratic Party. Diana is committed to fostering the next generation of leaders with Emerge Maryland. She aims to equip Emerge alum with the policy acumen and campaign skills needed to succeed, ensuring their confidence in advancing progressive leadership, regardless of electoral outcomes.
