Find out more about Alexis:
Why is your work at Emerge important?
My work at Emerge is important because we have the opportunity to empower and highlight the amazing women running for office that are so necessary for our democracy to represent everyone. My work on the development team is crucial because the events we organize allow our communities to come together, and we are stronger because of it.
Who in politics inspires you?
Eleanor Roosevelt is someone in politics who inspires me because of her groundbreaking work for women in society and the political sector especially. She was a champion for women’s rights and women’s activism. Eleanor was also the Vice President of Legislative Affairs of the League of Women Voters and supported the Women’s Trade League.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I love to travel to new countries and explore the history as well as the cuisine. I also love to walk my two puppies, Riley and Gigi.
