Emerge’s annual post-election celebration was on November 16th and highlighted some of the incredible women who powered us through the Midterms.
Across the country, Emerge alums are leading at the forefront of some of the biggest, most consequential issues we are facing, from abortion rights, to climate resilience, to accessible health care and countless others. We had over 650 women on the ballot this year, running for some of the most competitive seats in the country. Nearly 71% of them won their races, and nearly 97% of all incumbents were reelected to their positions. These are the women fighting for our fundamental rights. These are the Defenders of Democracy.
