She is currently a rising senior at Colby College where she studies English and Astrophysics. She also works as a reporter for the school newspaper and as an assistant to the school’s Title IX confidential advocate.
Mahika decided to work at Emerge because she wants to help women and people of marginalized communities find their voice in politics. She loves writing and using writing as a form of advocacy, which is something she is excited to bring to the communications team. Mahika assists on social media, drafting emails and releases, as well as research.
