We have made the decision to postpone the Emerge Now 2020 luncheon scheduled for May 12th. The health and safety of the community is our key concern. As such, we have been monitoring the COVID-19 developments and recommendations closely. Guidance from organizations like the World Health Organization and CDC and from our public officials including Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor London Breed have made our decision clear.
We are aiming to reschedule the event this upcoming fall and will keep you posted as we have more details.
During this time, Emerge is continuing its work to train Democratic women across the country for the fall elections. We are finding new and innovative ways to make this happen, and we will keep you updated on our work and progress across the country.
