#LeadersMatter Virtual Salon: Mayors on the Front Line

April 16, 2020 3:00 pm

Our incredible Emerge alums are Mayors of two large cities impacted early in this pandemic. San Francisco Mayor London Breed was one of the first elected officials in the country to begin implementing social distancing for large groups, and Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf  launched the Oakland COVID-19 Relief Fund to get immediate assistance to Oakland’s most vulnerable residents impacted by the outbreak. They have led the way and will give a full picture of the issues at play. Moderated by Emerge California Executive Director Melanie Ramil.

The #LeadersMatter virtual salon series is an event benefit of the Emerge Leadership Circle. The Leadership Circle is a core group of supporters who give $1,000 or more each year to support Emerge’s ongoing work. Leadership Circle members receive all-access to the complete #LeadersMatter virtual salon series including one guest pass.

Individual tickets for each salon are also available to purchase for non-Leadership Circle members at $100.
