Who We Are
Emerge America is a candidate training program for Democratic women. The essential step for Democratic women who want to run for public office – Emerge is the only in-depth, seven-month training program that inspires women to run and gives them the tools to win. Currently operating in fourteen states, our mission is to increase the number of Democratic women in all levels of Public office. The Opportunity
We are seeking a self-motivated intern to play an integral role with fundraising, event planning and communications.
Qualifications
• Passionate about the advancement of women in Politics
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office
• Familiar with general office operations
• Professional and clear communication skills
• Familiar with social media technologies
• Html experience a plus (not required)
• Learning and using NGP (Democratic campaign database)
Basic Duties
• Provide support with event planning
• Fundraising and special project Research
• Help manage website content and updates
• Filing and mailing as needed
This position will require a commitment of 8 to 20 hours each week. Hours can be flexible to accommodate a class schedule and we are happy to work with your school to help you earn college credit.
