Read moreNatalie Figueroa is a master teacher with experience teaching Spanish language classes, as well as serving on multiple professional organizations, statewide and throughout the southwest. Throughout her life, she has also become devoted to community service in various areas of the world, including service projects in Nicaragua, Tanzania and Costa Rica.
A lifelong educator and passionate community servant, Natalie is deeply in tune with the residents of Albuquerque’s Northeast Heights. In the legislature, she’ll provide New Mexico with a strong voice on critical issues such as education, government accountability and environmental protection.
Natalie wants to address the jobs issue in New Mexico by investing in the local economy, paying workers fair wages and expanding training incentives and apprenticeship programs. She will work to improve education in her state by improving early education opportunities and provide students and teachers with smaller class sizes.
Natalie also wants to improve public safety, protect the environment, expand healthcare access and increase government accountability and transparency.
