Arizona Legislature House District 4, Emerge Arizona, Class of 2009

Karina Guerrero has considerable experience as both a business leader and a public servant. From 1995 to 2010, Karina has owned and presided over Estate Management, a personal business that settles financial accounts for disabled minors, and ensures those funds are not inappropriately disposed.

She has been a member of the Local, State, and National Association of Realtors for over ten years. As a real estate broker, agent and office leader for top firms such as Century 21, Remax, and 1st USA Realty, Karina has witnessed firsthand the effects of the market collapse and its toll on homeowners. She will bring this insider understanding to her decision-making process in the House of Representatives, and be your advocate for homeowner rights.

Karina also has significant experience within education finance, working as an Education Financial Advisor from 2006 to 2008. Having been responsible for advising students on loans for higher education, Karina is aware of the burden student loans place on individuals who seek to gain the necessary training to compete in today's workforce.

Currently, Karina is owner and president of Kamantra Inc., a HVAC and sheet metal company within Arizona. Kamantra Inc. has been a solar certified business since November 2009, and Karina's leadership position has given her insight into the administrative and financial realities that small businesses face in Arizona. She will parlay this understanding into supporting laws that help sustain local businesses.

Karina considers her work in public service her highest honor. She currently is a member of the Wickenberg Chamber of Commerce and the Legislative Committee of District 4, where she has been selected Chair for the Hispanic Outreach Program. She has coordinated the reading program for the Gila River Indian Community, serviced learning projects for the Salvation Army, and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Furthermore, as a mother of two special needs children, Karina has been a vocal advocate for children with disabilities. Karina looks forward to serving the public as their voice in the Arizona state legislature.
